From our conversation, I usually quote over the phone.  

I will ask:

·       Width of the narrowest part of any access

·       Diameter of stumps – widest part at ground level

·       Approximate height

·       Special requirements – e.g. replant tree,

·       new drive, fence, extension etc.

·       Situation – lawn, raised bed etc.

·       If known, species of tree
